Cancellation & Refund Policy

Cancellation Policy for Godgift Travels And Trade Godgift Travels And Trade understands that travel plans can change. To provide clarity on cancellations, we have established the following policy. All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to our official email address: [e.g., cancellations@godgifttravels.com]. Verbal cancellations will not be accepted.1. Cancellation Charges Cancellation charges are levied based on the time of cancellation relative to the date of departure. The following charges (a percentage of the total package cost) will apply: Notice Period (Prior to Departure Date)Cancellation Fee (Per Person)[60] days or more[e.g., 20% or just the non-refundable booking deposit][59 - 45] days[e.g., 30%] of total package cost[44 - 30] days[e.g., 50%] of total package cost[29 - 15] days[e.g., 75%] of total package cost Less than [15] days or No-Show[100%] of total package cost Note: The percentages above are a template. You must adjust these based on your supplier contracts and risk tolerance.2. Non-Refundable Components Please be aware that the cancellation charges mentioned above are for our services only. These charges do not include, and will be levied in addition to, any non-refundable costs incurred by the company from third-party suppliers. Non-refundable components include, but are not limited to: Airfare: Most airline tickets, especially group or promotional fares, are 100% non-refundable. Visa Fees: All fees paid for visa processing are strictly non-refundable, regardless of whether the visa is granted or denied. Travel Insurance: Premiums paid for travel insurance are non-refundable. Supplier Deposits: Non-refundable payments made to hotels, cruise lines, train operators (like Eurail, etc.), or other suppliers, especially for peak-season bookings. Payment Gateway Fees: Transaction charges levied by the bank or payment gateway.3. High Season / Peak Season Bookings Bookings made for travel during high-peak seasons (e.g., [Diwali, Christmas/New Year (15 Dec - 10 Jan), long weekends]) may be 100% non-refundable or subject to stricter cancellation penalties, which will be communicated at the time of booking.4. Force Majeure "Force Majeure" includes (but is not limited to) acts of God, natural disasters, pandemics, epidemics, war, civil unrest, strikes, or government-imposed travel restrictions. In the event of a cancellation due to a Force Majeure event, Godgift Travels And Trade will not be liable for any refunds. We will make all reasonable efforts to recover funds from our suppliers (hotels, airlines, etc.).Any amount recovered will be provided to the customer, which may be in the form of a Credit Shell (for future travel) rather than a cash refund, as per the supplier's policy.3. Refund Policy Refund Policy for Godgift Travels And Trade This policy outlines the process and timelines for refunds following a valid cancellation as per our Cancellation Policy.1. Refund Eligibility A refund will only be processed upon receipt of a written cancellation request (as per the Cancellation Policy).The refund amount will be calculated after deducting all applicable cancellation charges, non-refundable components, and any outstanding dues. No refund shall be payable for any "No-Show" (failure to appear for the tour) or for any unutilized services (e.g., missed meals, unused hotel nights, skipped sightseeing).2. Refund Processing Timeline Once a cancellation is confirmed and the net refund amount is calculated, we will initiate the refund process. As we must await refunds from our third-party suppliers (airlines, hotels, DMCs), the refund process may take between 30 to 45 working days from the date of the confirmed cancellation. We will keep you informed of the refund status.3. Mode of Refund All refunds will be processed back to the original mode of payment through which the booking was made (e.g., to the same credit card, debit card, or bank account). No cash refunds will be provided.4. Deductions The final refund amount will be the total amount paid by you, less the following: Cancellation Charges: As per the tiered schedule in our Cancellation Policy. All Non-Refundable Components: As listed in the Cancellation Policy (e.g., airfare, visa fees, insurance, etc.).Payment Gateway/Transaction Fees: Any fees incurred by us during the original booking transaction.5. Credit Shell (Future Travel Voucher)In certain circumstances (such as Force Majeure events or at the customer's request), Godgift Travels And Trade may offer a Credit Shell in lieu of a cash refund. This Credit Shell can be used for a future booking with us and will have a specified validity period.
